The goal of this excursion was to take some pictures to be used as a banner on the new version of our online cave database. So we headed to Vetrovna jama (Windy cave) above Planinsko polje which was supposedly not far from road and have underground lakes (actually sumps) and water flow in between. There was still a lot of snow and it turned out that we had to walk for quite a while because forest roads were not cleared yet. There was also quite a lot of water in the cave so we couldn’t visit the entire cave. However we managed to make some photos of the cave as well photos of survey team in process of surveying the cave.
