Jeseni 2014 sva se s hčerko odpravila na dvodnevni izlet na Sedmera jezera in Fužinarske planine. Iz planine Blato sva se najprej povzpela do Dvojnega jezera in naprej do Jezera v Ledvicah. Na žalost naju je ves čas spremljala gosta megla, ki pa je namesto prelestnih razgledov zavila pokrajino v ivje in na ta način ponujala na ogled drugo vrsto že skoraj zimske pravljice. Nekje okrog Jezera v Ledvicah se je megla začela trgati in pokazalo se je modro nebo. Macesni so večinoma že odvrgli iglice, na tistih pa, ki so še ostale, so se bohotili ledeni kristali, ki so se v soncu hitro talili. Cela scena je bila zaradi ivja in odsotnosti iglic skoraj povsem črno-bela. Na laštih v bližini jezera sva se zadržala nekaj časa in intenzivno fotografirala. Nato pa sva pot nadaljevala mimo skoraj zamrznjenega Zelenega jezera ter mimo povsem zamrznjene Rjave mlake do Koče na Prehodavcih. Prespala sva v zimski sobi, še prej pa sva ob povsem jasnem vremenu uživala v čudovitem sončnem zahodu.

In the autumn of 2014, my daughter and I went on a two-day trip to the Sedmera jezera (Seven Lakes, also Triglav Lakes) and the Fužina Alps. From the Blato Alp, we first climbed to Dvojno jezero (Double Lake) and then to Jezero v Ledvicah (Kidney Lake). Unfortunately, we were accompanied all the time by a dense fog, which instead of providing us with beautiful views covered the landscape with frost and in thus offered another kind of almost winter fairy tale. Somewhere around Kidney Lake, the fog began to lift and a blue sky appeared. Most of the larch trees had already shed their needles, and those that remained were covered with ice crystals that were quickly melting in the sun. The whole scene was almost completely black and white due to the absence of needles and the frost. We stayed for a while on the slopes near the lake taking pictures. Then we continued our journey past almost frozen Zeleno jezero (Green Lake) and past the completely frozen Rjava mlaka (Brown Pond) to Koča na Prehodavci. We slept in the winter shelter of the Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih mountain hut. Perfectly clear weather provided us with beautiful sunset.

Naslednjega dne sva se povzpela na Kanjavec, od koder se odpira čudovit panoramski pogled na Julijske Alpe. S Kanjavca sva se spustila nazaj na Hribarice in dalje pod jugo-zahodnimi stenami Škednjovca na Mišeljski preval. Od prevala sva se mimo planine Jezerce in planine Krstenice vrnila nazaj na planino Blato.

The next day, we climbed Kanjavec mountain, from where a wonderful panoramic view of the Julian Alps opens. From Kanjavec, we descended back to Hribarice plateau and further under the south-western walls of Škednjovec to Mišelj pass. From the pass, we went back to the Blato Alp, past the Jezerce Alp and the Krstenica Alp.
